Pedders confirm double Rally2 entry for ARC Festival
Pedders Rally Team Protected by Famous Insurance is the latest team to confirm its place in the highly anticipated Australian Rally Championship Festival at the upcoming bp Adelaide Grand Final.
The prominent Australian Rally Championship (ARC) outfit will field a two-car charge for the special exhibition event with rising star Jackson Long locked in behind his Skoda Fabia R5, while the Skoda Fabia Rally2 line-up is still yet to be confirmed.
Team veteran Scott Pedder will pilot the Skoda Fabia Rally2 for part of the weekend, while a second driver will be announced in the coming weeks.
Long and Pedder are the fifth and sixth drivers to be announced for the Australian Rally Championship Festival, joining Harry Bates, Lewis Bates, Tony Sullens and Josh Redhead for the event.
Both drivers have had strong seasons in the ARC in 2026, with Pedder and co-driver Glenn Macneall currently sitting second in the outright standings and part of the three-title fight.
Long on the other hand has enjoyed an impressive maiden season behind the wheel of the Skoda Fabia R5, having stepped from his Subaru WRX at the start of the season – the youngster coming off the back of two outright podiums.
Set to feature the fastest rally crews and cars in Australia, the Australian Rally Championship Festival will be run in a special Race of Champions-style format.
Drivers will showcase their incredible skill behind the wheel of top-spec machinery on a temporary purpose-built dirt track, as they race one-on-one in front of the iconic Victoria Park Heritage Grandstand.
More information on manufacturers, formats and scheduling details for the ARC Festival at the 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final will be announced closer to the event.

QUOTES
Scott Pedder
Pedders Rally Team Protected by Famous Insurance Driver
“That’s the beauty of this opportunity, from a Pedder’s point of view, it ties the two motorsports together. Obviously, our passion is rallying and has been and always will be, but from a commercial point of view, the biggest motorsport in the country is Supercars,” Pedder said.
“To be able to promote the passion of Pedders in the commercial part of Pedders is really exciting.”
“This will by far be the biggest crowd we’ve competed in front of here in Australia. We’ve probably had crowds at that level competing in WRC Portugal or Finland, but the Adelaide Grand Final is certainly an iconic event and it draws a lot of people.
“It’s really exciting and hats off to the ARC and everyone behind this for organising it – the sport has probably needed this for a long time so it’s fantastic.
“We probably need to do this more often and join forces where we can to maximise the customer experience for people. That’s really exciting and we can’t wait.
“It’s a good track, hopefully we get some nice weather, and then there’s also the ability to take media, take some Supercar drivers and swap disciplines. That sort of stuff is really exciting too.”
