Championships: Four time Australian Rally Champion 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024

While the factory Toyota completed a clean sweep of the Manufacturer’s title in 2025, marking the eighth consecutive win, Harry finished the 2025 season on a high, taking out the last round, Rally Tasmania, late in 2025, uncharacteristically their only win of the season.

2025 was a challenging year, a symptom of the championship’s incredibly competitive nature, as Hyundai’s Hayden Paddon, a two-time European Rally Champion, competed, reprising the famous battle between Harry’s father, Neal Bates, and the late Possum Bourne from New Zealand.

Harry and Coral will be out in 26 to avenge their championship chances, and this team will be the odds-on favourite for the 2026 EROAD Australian Rally Championship.
